Cats don't ask for help. But they still need it when you're gone.

  • Your cat stops eating or hides for days when their routine is disrupted

  • You've tried boarding — and your cat came home sick, stressed, or refusing the litter box

  • You've asked a friend or neighbor, but visits were inconsistent and you never knew if they actually showed up

  • You need someone who will follow your exact feeding times, clean the litter properly, and actually spend time with your cat

  • You want to leave town knowing your cat is comfortable, fed, and checked on — not just surviving until you get back

What Happens During a Cat Care Visit

  1. We arrive on schedule and enter using your preferred access method — lockbox, spare key, garage code, or smart lock.

  2. We follow your cat's exact feeding routine. Wet food, dry food, prescription diet, timed portions — whatever you've set up, we match it.

  3. We clean the litter box thoroughly. Not a quick scoop — a proper cleaning, every visit.

  4. If your cat takes medication, we administer it on the schedule you've provided and confirm it in your visit notes.

  5.  We spend time with your cat. Play, brushing, lap time — whatever your cat responds to. Some cats warm up slowly, and we respect that.

  6. We do a quick home check: bring in mail or packages, rotate lights or blinds if requested, and make sure everything looks lived-in.

  7. We lock up your home securely, then send you a photo report card with notes from the visit.

Why In-Home Cat Care Beats Boarding. Every Time

Their Territory, Their Rules

Cats are territorial animals. Boarding puts them in a cage in a strange building full of unfamiliar sounds and smells. In-home care keeps them in the one place they feel safest — their own home.

Less Stress, Fewer Problems

Cats that are boarded commonly develop upper respiratory infections, stop eating, or develop litter box aversion. At home, your cat stays on their routine and avoids the stress cascade entirely.

Your Home Stays Occupied

An empty house invites problems. When we visit, we bring in mail, rotate lights, and make your home look lived-in — so you're not coming back to a pile of packages on the porch and a stressed-out cat.

What Cat Parents Are Saying

Real reviews from pet parents across NE San Antonio, Live Oak, Schertz & Cibolo

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐   5.0 on Google

Claudia K. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "I could not have asked for a better company to come in to take care of my three kittens. They interacted with them providing enjoyable attention AND they cleaned up any accidents. I enjoyed my trip knowing they were well taken care of and I loved getting daily updates and pictures." Claudia K. · Verified Google Review

Jennifer M. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
"I use Puparazzi to take care of my 3 cats every time I go out of town. The sitters always show up when scheduled, follow my list of instructions for the cats, and spend plenty of time petting and playing. They are always willing to do extras like taking out the garbage or bringing in packages. Trustworthy and do a great job!"
Jennifer M. · Verified Google Review

Renee H. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "We hired them for our 14 year old dog and 7 year old cat. That was nearly six years ago! Our now almost 20 year old dog and 13 year old cat are still with us and so are Liz and John. We would not trust anyone else to take care of our elderly furry family members." Renee H. · Verified Google Review

Frequently Asked Questions Cat Care

  • How often should my cat be visited while I'm away?

    • Most cat owners book one visit per day for trips under a week, and one to two visits per day for longer trips. During your Meet & Greet, we'll talk through your cat's needs and recommend a schedule that keeps them comfortable and well-fed.

  • My cat is shy or hides from strangers. Can you still care for them?

    • Absolutely. Many cats hide at first — that's normal. Our team members are experienced with shy and skittish cats. We move calmly, give them space, and let them come to us. Over a few visits, most cats start to recognize and relax around their regular team member.

  • Can you give my pet medications during visits?

    • Yes. We handle oral medications, topical treatments, and eye or ear drops. We follow the schedule you set and confirm every dose in your visit report. If your cat has a complex medical routine, we'll walk through it during the Meet & Greet so there are no surprises.

  • Do you clean the litter box at every visit?

    • Yes, thoroughly, every time. Not a quick scoop. We clean the box, dispose of waste, and note any changes (which can be early indicators of health issues). If you have specific litter preferences or multiple boxes, we follow your setup exactly.

  • What if my cat has a special diet or feeding routine?

    • We match your cat's routine precisely — wet food, dry food, prescription diet, timed portions, or a combination. All feeding instructions are documented in our system and followed at every visit. If your cat is on a veterinary diet, just let us know during setup.

  • Will you take care of my plants, mail, and house while I'm gone?

    • Yes. We bring in mail and packages, water plants on request, rotate lights or blinds, and do a general home check at each visit. Your home looks lived-in the entire time you're away.

  • Do you also take care of dogs?

    • Yes. If you have cats and dogs, we handle both in one visit plan. Your dog gets a walk on their schedule and your cat gets feeding, litter, and attention — all managed by the same team. One plan, one provider

  • What areas does Puparazzi Pet Care serve?

  • How do you handle home access during visits?

    • We follow each client's preferred method of entry. Whether that is a secure lockbox, spare key, garage code, or smart lock. All access instructions are stored securely in our scheduling app and are only visible to your assigned team members. We follow a strict home security protocol, including locking all doors and securing every entry point before we leave.

  • How do I get started with Puparazzi Pet Care?

    • Getting started is easy. Book a free Meet & Greet and we will come to your home, meet your pets, learn your routine, and walk through everything together. There is no obligation, it's just a chance to make sure we are the right fit. Book yours today. Book a Free Meet & Greet.
